It (Media Tie-In) | Stephen King

Pickpick

This is a continuation of my previous review on the book ‘It‘ by Stephen King. At first they talked about their adult lives and how they would leave to go defeat the clown in Derry. Now it is flashing back to their childhood and each child‘s terrifying experience with the killer clown. It also talks about how the kids meet and their experiences with the awful town bullies. This book is read from a first person point of view! This style of writing

stefanie.vandemunt Is really exciting and fun because it gives the reader a feel of what it‘s like to be a young kid experiencing all of these things. This is a great book and I would 100% recommend it to someone who enjoys a challenging read and a little bit of a scare sometimes!! 5y
MissYaremcio Great job Stef! You'll have to let me know if you finish reading this book! I've had several students attempt it, but none have ever finished it! 5y

Pickpick

I am reading ‘It‘ by Stephen King. So far this book is incredible. As of right now the plot is all over the place. It jumps back and forth between characters to get a glimpse of their backstories. They were all contacted by an old friend who told them the clown they dealt with 28 years prior has returned. It switches between characters and tells a little bit about each of their lives and how they are going to return to their hometown to defeat the

stefanie.vandemunt Clown that haunted them years before. Each character is so unique and has their own separate story. I think the motif in this book as of right now is fear because each character displays fear in the way they react to the old friends call. It‘s hard to decide on a motif as of right now because the plot hasn‘t thickened! I would totally recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a scary read! I can‘t wait for it to get intense. I love how Stephen... 5y
