I was in a bit of a reading rut but then I checked this book out of the library. I have hardly been able to put it down since page one!
"She wondered where he escaped from, how bad it was, and how far he traveled before he put it behind him." Just finished this book -- one of the kind that I read in less than 24 hours. Incredible, astonishing, horrific, and tremendous.

"Now he suddenly realized that Cedric was nothing but a useless pretty boy without enough brains to fill an egg cup." Harry, after Cho tells him she's going to the Yule Ball with Cedric. Gets me every time. ? Listening to the audiobook on the way to see our friend's play in South Bend.
This is my new favorite thing. I am about to take a nap after a looooong morning (ran 18 miles, danced in a flash mob for domestic violence awareness month for my job, and then got lunch) but first I am rereading this. It is super cute! 🐭🎄#picturebook
I loved this book! My coworker got it out of the library & then lent it to me to read because she knew I'd love it. It tackles questions of bullying, friendship, family, and "being different" in a funny & unique way. I blew through it in just a couple of days and had difficulty putting it down. Written for the younger YA set but enjoyable by grownups like myself.
"By no means all Hobbits were lettered, but those who were wrote constantly to all their friends (and a selection of their relations) who lived further off than an afternoon's walk." Starting a reread of one of my all-time favorites while icing my knee tonight. Hobbits are just what I needed after my day at work.
