A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas was an incredible read (in my opinion). Following the journey of a human girl named Feyre as she's sucked into the magical faeire realm of Prythian to honour an age-old treaty after killing one in the woods. 1/?

zona.mcglennf Forced to leave her family, Feyre stays in the mansion of her captor in the Spring Court and after a few rough spots she starts to get used to being there, being able to relax and do the things she loves, such as painting. She also silently falls in love with Tamlin, trying to learn about the curse and blight that plagues the court and the whole of Prynthian. 2/? 4y
zona.mcglennf After a uh...spicy night, Tamlin confessing to Feyre of his love for her, she's sent home for her safety. After spending a short time withher sisters and sharing everything of the past months, she sets out alone to go back and help. But she's too late. She arrives at the manor to find it empty with windows shattered and nobody there. 3/? 4y
zona.mcglennf Led by an ally and told the truth about the curse and blight, Feyre travels to Under the Mountain, where a cruel faeire Queen Amarantha rules brutally over the realm. Making a deal to prove her love and save Tamlin (and everyone else), our protagonist is faced with three months of rotting and completing the challenges set out before her. Making curious allies and arrangements along the way, will she succeed? 4/4 4y

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis, at least to the point I‘ve read so far (which is about two thirds) has been a really good read! Edmund and Lucy Pevensie are pulled into Narnia once again, this time with their cousin Eustace along for the ride. On the ship the Dawn Treader the trio is welcomed by King Caspian, Reeepicheep, as well as Drinian and his crew. (cont‘d in comments)

zona.mcglennf They join the king on his search for seven lords that served his father that went missing. On this journey they stop at many island school survive a storm and a sea serpent, someone turns into a dragon temporarily, and that‘s about where I am so far~ I‘ve loved all the books in the Chronicles of Narnia series I‘ve read so far and this is no exception! (cont‘d again) 4y
zona.mcglennf If you‘re a fan of fantasy, adventure and love to travel to new worlds, I‘d seriously recommend giving this book (and the whole series) a go at it. 9/10 so far :)) 4y
