I am swan diving out of this one because it lost me about a quarter of the way through. A shame, because it started off charming!

It was charming enough at the start, but some biphobia has me zoning out. We'll see if I finish it...
I'm still trying to find a contemporary romance author that resonates with me. After reading a novella by Ruthie Knox and hearing Whoa!mance's podcast about this book, I thought it was time to read a full-length novel by her.
There were a lot of things I liked about this story but I didn't love it. The ending was a little weird for me because I thought it was uncool for him to spring that on her. I guess I'm just a fantasy romance kind of gal.
The book was great. Highly recommend. But I did get annoyed at a reoccurring misspelling. Scotch whisky has no ‘e‘ only American or Irish whiskey has the ‘e‘. This is the only time they actually referenced Scotch but the book takes place in London and I‘m assuming all the other times they are drinking Scotch whisky also. #itsthelittlethings
My first Ruthie Knox book and this is when I fell in love with her writing. Not everyone loved it but you can actually see how good Ms. Knox is when it comes to dialogue, the perfect blending of humor and angst and the coming together of two people who have nothing in common except for the things that matter
Why did I wait so long to read this author's work. It was fun and sexy with some heavy moments. I read it in an afternoon. Cath annoyed me at times, but City had me smitten.....and I don't usually go for blondes ;)
