I loved the first book in this series so much. I read it in just a few hours. That little fact made the disappointment I felt while reading this sting even more. The first half was hard for me to get through. It lacked the witty dialogue & butterfly triggering romance that made book 1 so difficult to put down. It was well written, but just boring. I know married life can get a little mundane, but c'mon! This is Kate and Ian!

I read this in a matter of hours. I just couldn't bring myself to put it down. The premise is so clever & the story is packed full of witty dialogue. The initial interactions between Kate and Ian had me in tears from laughing. Ian is hilarious and captivating and I'm a little sad he isn't a real person. I love him and Kate together. I highlighted so many sections of this book because I loved it so. This is going on my favorites shelf.

I liked this, but the ending was so frustrating 😁 It also left even more questions and offered up very few answers. I've heard book 3 will finally reveal the answers to some of these questions. Please be true 🙏🏻

I'm not much of a nonfiction reader but this book might have turned me into one. I enjoyed the author's frank discussion of her life and the interesting facts she shared about plants and trees. Her long term friendship with Bill was heartwarming. Oh the adventures they had! Hearing it on audio with the actual author narrating made it even cooler. Plant a tree y'all 🌳🌲We are losing too many 😔

10 chapters in and my feelings are mixed 🤔 I was hoping for a strong case of instalove after seeing all the rave reviews from my lovely GR friends. Unfortunately that's not the case ☹️

This is a fun book to read aloud to preschoolers - early elementary. I wouldn't mind exploring this wacky forest again and again with the bear who wasn't there.

Simon and Magnus Bane were the only characters I enjoyed. It was a little long winded at times and I found my attention wavering to what I could be reading instead. I've heard it gets better with book 2?! Maybe I'll try it.

There were a lot of "ifs" in this plan, a lot of things that could go wrong.

Why did I wait so long to read this author's work. It was fun and sexy with some heavy moments. I read it in an afternoon. Cath annoyed me at times, but City had me smitten.....and I don't usually go for blondes ;)

This book had so much emotion. It was funny and sad and just ridiculously perfect. I loved Georgie‘s family. I loved her trying to explain how to use a cellphone to Neal‘s mom. I loved the pugs.

That's not a plan. That's a suicide mission.
