Pickpick

In this Brother Cadfael mystery, a priest is discovered murdered on Christmas morning. I especially liked the historical context, which showed the strife among people supporting different political factions in 12th-century England.

PuddleJumper I loved the TV series. Never got into the books but we have the editions from the 70s with the teeny tiny writing 🤣 1w
TheAromaofBooks I LOVE this series. Highly recommend reading them in order if you haven't read them before, as the characters really develop over time. And the ending of the series is just perfect! 1w
kwmg40 @PuddleJumper I loved the TV series too. Fortunately, my library had this book on audio. I don't do well with teeny tiny print these days myself. 3d
kwmg40 @TheAromaofBooks I've read a few of the books and watched the TV series. Your suggestion sounds like a good one. I really should read the entire series from the beginning. I jumped to this one because I wanted a Christmas-themed mystery. 3d
