Djspens @AmyG lol these two are exhausting, I'm wondering how I survived twins! And I had a 2 1/2 year old when the twins were born, and had another baby 5 years later! Thank God I was young!! 4y
AmyG Right? I also had a 2 1/2 year old when I had my twins. 3 kids under 3. NOW?...I‘d be dead in a week. 🤣 (edited) 4y

Baby showers are a hotbed of oral storytelling. Each parent's birth story is different -- not just the experience itself, but what details we remember, which aspects we focus on, and how we cope with the often unrealistic expectations we have of ourselves. Baby Love by Robin Barker was my parenting handbook. For me, it provided a good balance between advice, concern and encouragement. What were your go-to parenting books? #babybooks

Pickpick

Australian Mums are lucky to have books like Baby Love (and my other favourite, Up the Duff) to take the guess work and stress out of life with a newborn.
