Darker, but I liked it. Can‘t wait to finish the series.
2017 #124 crime boss porn audio I sorted the audiobooks at the library by suspense and the title caught my eye. It was grouped with Vince Flynn and Brad Thor. Never read the blurb and what a surprise when the intro (oh ya it is a spin off of another series I had never heard of) talked all porny. It is like Black Dagger Brotherhood without the vampires. So OTT and cheesy but the good kind. Made work go by all blushy and quick.
I've read all of these, so I knew from p.1 it would be over-the-top. I like anti-heros, and generally I appreciate imperfections, tattoos, and Crownover's skilled writing. This one didn't work for me as well as the previous books did. The plot and timeline were a bit oddly constructed, perhaps bending to accommodate cameos for multiple previous characters.
I was like half way through this when it was misplaced a couple of months ago. I'm trying to finish it today and I just can't seem to get back into it. Sad face.
I'm in a total book slump. I misplaced my book and have no desire to start a different one. (Meet my new baby Khaleesi!)
My full review of Honor is now up on by blog, www.GeekyGirlBooks.com!

Honor was so amazing! I couldn't wait for Nassir's story and Jay Crownover didn't disappoint. Key was his perfect match. I loved her. If you loved The Point Series you'll love this book. If you haven't read The Point yet, I'd recommend starting with Better When He's Bad. This is technically a standalone but you'll get all the grimy details if you start at the beginning.
Coffee! STAT! I have an enormous book hangover 😷
🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 Stars
Honor was amazing. Everything I hoped for & much, much more. I've waited for Nassir's HEA since book 1 of the series. He's not a good person and I LOVE him for all of his slick evilness!
BUT...Honor both is & isn't a stand alone. It seems like a middle book, but it isn't.
If you love The Point u'll be sooo happy. If u haven't read books 1-3, start with Better When He's Bad.
Decisions, decisions!! Taking a break from reading #OnWriting for craft today and gonna indulge in some #FabFiction. Happy reading!

The thing to keep in mind is that until this point, both Nassir and Keelyn have been background characters in the Welcome to the Point series. But I have to admit, it wasn't a far fall for me with Nassir. Honor was just written so well. While it felt a bit darker than other Crownover books, it was solid and a really good read. While this is the start of a new series, this isn't the place to start if you are new to Jay Crownover books.
Tomorrow is release day for my ALL TIME favorite NA author, Jay Crownover. #romantsy
The 4th book in her "Welcome to the Point" series drops at midnight and I'm all over it! Nasir is the hero I've fangirled over and I'm ecstatic she has written a book with him as the lead. ??
The Point series occupies a unique space in NA...Heavy suspense, amazing voice, killer character arcs, romance, and FANTASTIC anti-heroes.
