April 2021 - horror - the worst book I have read in forever and I can't tell you why. It was just repulsive and stupid and I wanted to quit but kept thinking it couldn't get worse and it did. Wish I had never started and feel stained by it. Blech.

April 2021 - read after watched - enjoyed. Not sure if watching before reading spoiled it a bit but the story was still interesting and it was well read.

alisiakae How was the audiobook narration? 3y
Ksvz Personally, I usually dislike multiple narrators. In this case it worked alright. I think because I watched the Netflix movie I was a little more forgiving because I knew what was happening and wasn‘t really hard core listening. I am a super snob when it comes to the voices allowed to whisper stories in my ears - lol :) 3y
Ksvz Also, being completely honest - because the book and film were so similar I ended up listening at warp speed which makes everyone sound ridiculous and as it‘s only seven hours long at regular speed was a ridiculously fast listen. 3y
Ksvz Also realizing today‘s word of the day is ridiculous. Sorry I am usually more articulate than this 3y

April 2021 - urban fiction - ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. It was full of cringeworthy stereotypes and some of the characters were over the top and I absolutely loved it. It made me giggle and smile and basically look like a dork while this silly story was read to me.

April 2021 - general fiction - technically a reread but I didn‘t remember the story. Read it on April 1 and felt annoyed that on autism day and after reading the reason I jump one of the characters was so negatively portrayed and so stereotypical. Very angry making.
