My second trip into the world of Jonathan Dunne, this time with the half-gypsy girl "Cabbage", raised in a caravan and looked after more so by her guardian angel Mr. Brick than her dysfunctional but well-meaning (maybe...?) parents. We meet her at the top of a cliff and learn her entire life story on the way down.
It's all pretty symbolic, Reader. ?
Another Dunne book that reads like a cult classic movie that is sure to grow better with age!
