Here is a fun F find by Leo Lionni that I was given while I volunteered at a recent book bash. It is a very cute read and great for young students to learn new vocabulary.

Here is the link to a great resource:

StephanieP Little books like these definitely make the classroom fun and helps improve vocabulary and sentence structure! Also great for ELs! 7y
Elizabethhunt96 Your resource is great and this looks like a fantastic way to teach kids in science about amphibians versus aquatic animals. 7y
DrSpalding This is TL as it is a fable. 7y

This F (fable) book is called Fish is Fish, by Leo Lionni. The book is about a minnow and a tadpole who are inseparable friends, until the tadpole grows legs and ventures out of the pond. This charming tale emphasizes friendship and teaches to love the world around you and your own experiences.https://www.scholastic.com/teachers/lesson-plans/teaching-content/fish-fish-lesson-plan/ #UCFLAE3414su17

Fish is Fish is a fable written and illustrated by Leo Lionni about a fish and a tadpole who become inseparable. The tadpole grows into a frog and gets to share his experiences about the world. The fish cannot imagine what "people" are because he's never seen them before. He gets into danger trying to find out and realizes it's okay to be different.
