Here‘s another Christmas read I grabbed on Audible Plus. It‘s bittersweet but mostly sweet. An 8-year-old girl and an 81-year-old lady become best buddies, then they both end up getting cancer. They go on this journey together and their friendship is so sweet. There‘s also a lot of funny moments as well. It‘s a quick listen at 6 hours. 4⭐️

This fit the bill for a holiday read that wasn‘t a sappy romance. A young girl and her family fall on hard times and have to move into a humble trailer/modular home community. The girl meets a much older neighbor; they quickly become BFFs. Yes, it‘s a sappy tearjerker that will play your emotions. It‘s heavily grounded in Christianity, but I think the values and message can connect with anyone. At least I was okay with it and I‘m an atheist!🤗 4/5

Just finished this beautiful Christmas story...sad and beautiful at the same time. If you‘re looking for a fast,yet beautiful story of the goodness in Christmas- give this a try.

I found this little gem while unpacking yet another box. I know this book was given to me, but I can‘t remember who it was from 🙁 I was hoping to find an inscription- but nothing. I decided to read the book, and it is a sweet story! Thank you to whoever gave me this beautiful little book! 💕💕
