When a silly, impulsive decision lands free-spirited India Shaw behind bars in San Francisco, she has no choice but to call the only person she knows in the unfamiliar city the very man she abandoned after a steamy two-day fling. The fact that she s pregnant with his child is something she d rather not divulge. Tech executive Michael Black never thought he d hear from the quirky beauty after she left his bed four months ago, much less be called upon to post bail. He s got his hands full with a corporate merger that could make or break his career, but his honorable nature and an overwhelming need to see her again means he can t just leave her in jail. And when India reveals the truth about her pregnancy, Mike insists she stay with him until the baby is born.India doesn t want to depend on him for anything, but their constant proximity stirs up feelings she can t ignore. She s never desired a family before and she knows a future with Mike isn t possible . . . but then along came love to shake up all her plans. "

I know lots of people loved this one, but I wasn't one of them. I liked the heroine, but was uncomfortable about the way the hero kept trying to manipulate her into changing how she felt about an unwanted pregnancy, and just generally steamrolled her. Plus, he is still with his girlfriend - not the heroine - until 3/4 of the way through the book, which was a bit unsavoury. #LitsyAtoZ #LetterA

I had to take a picture of this cover on my computer screen, the e-ink didn't do it justice! But even though the free spirit/serious straitlace trope isn't my favorite, I really enjoyed this one! The characters felt really real despite the tropiness of their character roles and Tracey Livesay is SO good at writing sex scenes 🔥🔥🔥 (and I just noticed it's only 1.99 on kindle if that's something you're into) #romantsy

I loved this book so freaking much. I've read a number of romances this year but this is high on my list of favs for the year. India is the best!!!! Her emotional turmoil feels very true and believable based on her backstory. I enjoyed the surprise pregnancy trope much more than I expected. Also Mike is a fab hero, and I liked the relationship here. Just a great entertaining read. Can't wait for Jonathan's story next.

Wooo! I've been not so patiently waiting for the next book in this series to drop. AND IT'S FINALLY OUT TODAY!! I loved Love On My Mind. It has a WOC heroine and a hero with Asperger's, a very different kind hero than I've read. Plus, bi-racial couple woo. Tracey teased this new story at the end if Book 1 and I've been intrigued to see where it goes.
