I've never been able to get into #audiobookstogo, I love the idea of them, but my brain just doesn't process information that way. The closest I've ever gotten was a love for podcasts in the pre-children days when I would wake up at 5:30 to walk my dog before work. Walking alone in the dark was the only way I could focus on what I was hearing (and my attention would still drift 20% of the time). Nerdist was my #1.

Purrfectpages True story. I had a huge crush on Chris Hardwick back in the day. 7y
TheKidUpstairs @Purrfectpages Me too! 😍😍 7y
Reggie I used to like the Nerdist but I felt the interviews stopped being interviews and more about Chris Hardwick telling them how much he's like them. 7y
TheKidUpstairs @Reggie Is been a couple years since I've listened, to be honest. But I definitely found the earlier interviews to be the best. The Nathan Fillion episode is my fave. 7y

I was listening to this on audio book a bit in the car today. I get why Chris Hardwick isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I like all of his shows. I'm not the type to read this kind of book, but I'm looking for extra motivation lately.
