It was great to finally read about Wood b/c I always knew he had a troubled life and died young(ish, his 50s), but I never knew the details, including that he took his own life 😥

My father has an artist's edition book of some of Wally Wood's stories--high quality life size photos of the original artwork, so one can see the notes and effects techniques used at the time, and you could read the comic just fine because the lettering was done by hand right on the original artwork. This story was among them
One of the many great stories on this collection. However: I had to laugh at how the women were written 😅
Let's just say karma gets our protagonist in the most poetic manner.
