Pickpick

Superman Birthright is an Incredible book from start to finish. I highly recommend picking it up. Mark Waid wrote the hell out of this book, and the art by Leinil Francis Yu and Gerry Alanguilan is fantastic.

I must've read, listened to, and watched countless versions of the Superman origin story, so when you manage to make it moving and fresh you're definitely doing something right.

GuiltyFeat It doesn't take much to set me off. I love origin stories and origin stories about orphans are guaranteed to make me cry. From Superman to Magneto, Batman to Spider-Man - motherless children all. Blub. 8y
DennisJacobRosenfeld @GuiltyFeat I'm the same. I have no control when it comes to certain stories. This particularly version just feels really fresh. Amongst other things for its reversal of Jor-El and Lara-El's roles in the savior of Karl-El. Quite beautiful. 8y
