Fictional me has no luck with Joshes either 🤣
SoI did end up finishing it. I am pretty good at DNFing when I am bored but when it‘s a train wreck sometimes it‘s hard to look away 🤣
This book unironically highlights the harm of the idolization of biological children IMO. As someone with PCOS who can certainly related to the struggles Kristen experiences with her cycle I was actually kind of excited to see this kind of representation in a FMC. ⬇️
I know we are already halfway through July but I finally made a bingo card. Technically the first one I have committed to my bullet journal for the year. I am unaware if I have gotten bingos from earlier months because I just haven‘t gotten around to tracking them. I will catch up eventually 😆 #BookSpinBingo
Finished my #DoubleSpin. I love this series so much and I hope this isn‘t the end. I would love to see a book inviting the cheese man into the book club next. IYKYK 🥰🧀📚
July #ReadYourKindle picks. One of these things is not like the other lol 🎄🎄🎄🐦⬛
#BookSpin picks for July. I started The Bromance Book Club series at the beginning of this year and have been making myself wait till this month to start the last (for now) of the series. I was so happy to see it was chosen for my #DoubleSpin pick this month. 🎄📚
July #ReadYourKindle List
June Wrap Up. I think this was my least read month of the year so far. I think this is partially since I was focusing on my physical #Bookspin which I made a dent in but didn‘t finish. It‘s been a while since I‘ve read from my physical pile and it‘s tough to focus this time of year. I am still doing amazing on my goodreads goal though I am 25 books ahead of schedule somehow (74/100)😂
Can my fellow PCOS girlies relate 😂🧛🏻♀️ Also I accidentally found the tagged book trying to make this post but I totally want to find and read it for real now! 🩸
Booo A Very Grumpy Father‘s Day isn‘t in the Litsy database but it follows the same couple from this book. What better day to catch up with the Cannavales? I am looking forward to Billy Boston‘s book coming out in Octobah 😄
Edit: The book has been added 🥳
Just started this one and today‘s date was mentioned. This has happened to me one other time that I can recall. Kind of makes me feel like my mood reading has led me to the right one ☺️
Happy #AriMetDanteDay! Just as a reminder to any San Antonio littens, the movie is available to stream on Kanopy via mysapl but if your library uses Kanopy it‘s worth taking a look.
May have rejoined BOTM just to get my matching L&L copy for my trophy shelf. Nothing like a fresh #BOTM inhale though 👃📚 I already listened to the audio which was magnificent. Eric Nolan and Samantha Brentmoor were 💯
Looks like I am fated to read ice cream puns this month. 😄🍨#DoubleSpin was for an #AcquiredViaLitsy pick which I just so happen to have book 2 in this series.
Just picked up my hold for this beauty 🥹🖤📖 Bedtime stories are getting an upgrade with this one.
Got the Libby notification on Sunday that these have been added. Gonna finally start them today. 💜💙🖤
Found a stack of unopened #LitsyLove mail that I am hoping to get through by the end of the month. I think my problem is I don‘t open them til I am ready to write back 🤪 #LL
I love Caleb already 😆
Stopped at a library I don‘t usually go to and they have a puzzle swap. This is such a cool idea. I hope it catches on with some of the other branches 🥰🧩
A murdery audiobook needs a murdery @FrostbeardMPLS candle 🕯️ Nearly finished with this one and just how I felt when I read the first one I feel like I need more Australian author recs 😄
I read nary a March #ReadYourKindle pick although I did read off my Kindle plenty. Let‘s see if I can stick to the script this month 😇
I apologize that I haven‘t been posting very consistently on here. But I wanted to pop in for an update. I did get to visit the Libros Book Lounge I posted about previously for the first time tonight and it was lovely. I wish I had gotten more photos to share, but the thing is… I‘m awkward and self conscious 😂 I loved it and I will be back. 🖤📖🦇
Almost choked on a strawberry I was snacking on at this section 🤣 Go Gavin!
Since the #ReadYourKindle numbers have been posted I can share my #BookSpin / #DoubleSpin picks for March since my DoubleSpin was a ReadYourKindle catch all category. I was so excited that Devil of Dublin was fated to be my BookSpin that I actually already finished reading it. Absolutely loved it. I will be buying a physical copy at some point because I need to own it. BB Easton is working on the sequel right now and I can‘t wait. 😈🇮🇪
This section was so relatable to the millennial experience 🥺
What are the odds… I finally started this one and didn‘t realize there was a leap day reference in it 😆
This was announced in January but I haven‘t checked it out yet but it‘s a really awesome idea. Originally it was only open from 2-5am but hours have been extended. I wonder if there are any other Texan littens who have checked it out? Link to the original article below.

I finished the Improbable Meet Cute series this morning. This is my ranking 1 being my favorite and 6 being my least favorite. I wouldn‘t say any of these stories were terrible though. I also love how there is a reference to a character from book 1 in book 6 but none of these stories are actually interconnected and can be read in any order. #ReadYourKindle #SeriesLove2024 #ReadAway2024
Been a little absent from Litsy lately but had to share this quote of my current read because of the superb owl 😜 today go sports! 📣
February picks for #ReadYourKindle a couple of these have been on my TBR for years so I‘m looking forward to finally finishing them. 🫣
Finished my 2nd book for #AuldLangSpine. This one is short but was so moving and powerful. It feels heavy but in the way that a weighted blanket feels. I can see myself recommending this one a lot. Reads as a poetry memoir of sorts with lots of self-healing. I think anyone would benefit from reading it, but perhaps especially those who have experienced their own crisis of faith. ⛪️🏳️⚧️ #ReadAway2024
Read the top one yesterday and the tagged book today. Ironically I popped into a dollar tree and found the top book when I was avoiding going on a walk because it was so windy 😂 🌬️ Tagged book is about a giant terrorizing a small village till an even bigger giant comes along and give him a taste of his own medicine. #ReadAway2024
Got some book mail the other day. When I found out about the Kensington edition exclusive bonus ESPN interview scene I had to have it. The freebie sticker, prints, and bookmark were all bonuses. Photo doesn‘t do justice to how glittery it is 🤩 🥅 🏒
Finished this audio on Tuesday. Blue Nose Audio production value is *chefs kiss*. I have been wanting to branch out a little more since I don‘t usually read books with fantasy elements in them. This one was great for someone like me who finds books like that intimidating to start. This is the first of a trilogy so adding on to the #SeriesLove2024 pile. Book 2 is already queued up for February if I can wait that long 😂 #ReadAway2024
