This was sooooooo good! So interesting and mysterious and intriguing and I need to buy the sequel right now!!!

Written by our fellow litten @EricQiao this is a book about a young man who travels to rural China in hopes of finding out what happened to his sister. He ends up getting entangled in a murder investigation, bribery and corruption. This was extremely eye opening and heartbreaking.

Written 25 years before Dracula this is a very different vampire story than I am used to reading. It was a very quick read and extremely enjoyable! Thank you @callunakeep for letting me borrow this!

I realllllly enjoyed this book. This is Ursula‘s side of the story of The Little Mermaid and it was a lot of fun. I liked how other Disney evil queens were mentioned and incorporated into the story. Great story!

A woman suddenly and inexplicably decides to refuse to eat meat. This book follows the effects this has on her and her family. It‘s dark and intense and powerful. A quick and chilling read.

Omg wow! Thank you so much @ErinSueG for my #sockswap goodies! The socks are totally kawaii and totally me! I have been wanting this book for ages! All of the stationary/journaling goodies will come in very handy and I may or may not have had one of the bags of snacks already 😉 you totally nailed it I love everything!!

I really struggled between a pick and so-so rating. The first 300 or so pages dragged on forrrrrrever! I considered bailing but I had already made it so far so I continued. And I‘m glad I did. The last half of the book definitely picked up the pace and was suspenseful right up until the end. Could have been much shorter without losing any impact IMO but overall a really good book!

I really enjoyed this. Of course I was in 80‘s nerd heaven with all of the references! The story did lag at times and it was a tad predictable but neither of these took away from the entertainment of the book. I loved it and can‘t wait to see the movie which my son says is absolutely amazing!

This has always been one of my favorite Stephen King movies but I had never read the book until now. It would be impossible for an hour and a half movie to fully capture the intensity of this book. And that‘s exactly what this book was - intense!! Still one of my favorite SK movies and now one of my favorite books as well!

James Jean is one of my favorite artists. He designed this image for the movie and the first time I saw it I fell it love. It completely captivates and moves me. Unfortunately I was not able to purchase a print when he offered them on his website so I figured this is the next best thing.
