The Fourth Stall
The Fourth Stall | Chris Rylander
4 posts | 5 read | 2 to read
The life of crime is good.Mac has taken down legendary high school crime boss Staples, business has been booming, and Mac and Vince are getting ready for middle school baseball tryouts. But this cant last. Mac has always tried to keep his friends close and his enemies closer. But what happens when you cant tell the difference? This dilemma walks into the fourth stall in the form of Trixie Von Parkwayan eighth grader with a mean look and an even meaner predicament. The new science teacher is terrorizing her, and she needs Mac to get him off her back. Seems simple enough, but as Mac starts to dig deeper, he finds even more trouble brewing at his school, including a new administrator bent on destroying his business, and indications that Trixie isnt who she claims to be. In the past, the worst thing that could have happened to Mac was that he might lose a little money, maybe catch a beating. In The Fourth Stall Part II, though, theres going to be much more on the line than that.

Middle school life of crime! I believe there are 3 books in the series and this may be # 3. But it works as a standalone too. Mac‘s “office” is the 4th stall in the boys‘ room, the one with what‘s left of an exploded toilet (an earlier prank). Comical and light, it includes double identities and an ever present “con” atmosphere. #bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks

Well, the main reason I choose the book was that I recently heard about the movie version, but I never got the opportunity to watch it.

Grene: Humorous

Date started: Around 2016

Date completed: October 14 - 22

How did you choose this book?
It was a gift from my homeroom teacher in grade 5. I am halfway into finishing the book so I decided to finish this before I move on.

Write a brief summary of the novel; who was the protagonist; what was his/her problem and how was the problem resolved?
In the comments!

__mz.3 This book is about Mac and Vince and their new “company”. They both started business to help everyone with any type of problems they had. Everything is going smooth for everyone in the business. Mac and Vince hired a few people here and there which helped with the contribution of the company. A few days went by and they have faced their greatest challenge yet, Staples. Staples is a highschool dropout which would beat up anyone in his path. 5y
__mz.3 One of the people In Mac‘s school was getting bullied by him. This made it very hard for the both of them to find out a way. At the end of the book, no one was harmed and mac and Vince did not get beaten up by Staples.

So this is one of the few books I'm giving my nephew that I have not read. But lots of my children librarian friends say they are great.
