pickIt's been a while since I read the second Sidney Chambers book, and it was nice to slip back into Sidney's world again. There are four mysteries in this installment, in addition to the overarching storylines of Sidney and Geordie's private lives. I can't help but compare the books to the TV show and, at this point, they have very little in common.

I was already a massive Sidney Chambers fan from the TV show and love the books even more. If only all vicars were as careful as Sidney!

I found judging a #bestsidekick quite tricky @RealLifeReading I decided a good sidekick is found in one that doesn't feel like a sidekick a Watson to Holmes or, as is my choice, Geordie to Chambers! My sidekick is pictured here ;) #booktober
