I missed the question about the fictitious movie title, but since I‘ve seen Home Alone a million times (who hasn‘t?), I‘m pretty grounded on the details. I went and looked at the “25 Interesting Facts” and was surprised that Joe Pesci carried his method acting to the point of actually biting a child! That seems a little intense.

dabbe I agree! And he was aloof to Cullkin to make sure he was afraid of him. Plus all of his f-bombs! Thanks for playing and sharing. Nice score, too! 💚🤍♥️ 5d

Hahaha! Nice! Anyway, I totally guessed on half of these, and I‘ve only seen this movie once like six years ago! 😂 Might have to brush up on this movie!

dabbe It is a funny one! ♥️🤍💚 6d

Having seen this movie a lot, that explains my best score ever! 🤣

In reading 25 Surprising Facts about this movie, here are three I didn't know:
1. HA was a Guinness record holder for 25 years (most $ made on opening weekend).
2. Robert De Niro turned down the Joe Pesci part.
3. Pesci's role (Harry Lime) is the same name as Orson Welles's role in THE THIRD MAN, a fabulous movie. https://tinyurl.com/4rndcy3v

A perfect score! Home Alone isn‘t my favorite by far, but I‘ve seen it tons of times, and it is pretty funny. Here is my favorite Kevin quote: “Bless this highly nutritious microwaveable macaroni and cheese dinner and the people who sold it on sale. Amen.” 😂

I was a little surprised that I only missed one question. I don't think of myself as a huge Home Alone fan, but I guess I saw it during my formative years so it stuck with me. Also I'm pretty sure I saw it about a dozen times, so that probably plays into it.

Thanks for the tag, @dabbe ! #TTT

TheKidUpstairs 💯 🎉 we've watched it multiple times already this year, it's a family favourite! 6d
Amiable I‘ve only seen it once and probably when it first came out. 😬 6d
Dilara So, this is going to be quick: I've never watched it 😅 I suppose I could take the quiz anyway, to see how much trivia I've passively absorbed? 6d

GingerAntics They have made a story book of this movie?! Seriously? How have we never seen this in the bookstore? Someone knew this was something the world needed!!! That person deserves a raise. 6d
CogsOfEncouragement This is my son‘s fav so we‘ve watched several times but I only got 61%. (I didn‘t get either of the trivia about casting or writing and also missed others.) Guess I better put it on while I wrap some gifts! Thanks for another fun quiz. Merry Christmas. 6d
Ruthiella Thanks for the tag. I only saw it once when it was released on video in the 99s. I remember being bothered by the violence of it. But the kids I was babysitting loved it. 6d
OriginalCyn620 Fun! 🤩 thanks for the tag 6d
Aims42 Thanks for the tag!! I got a respectable 76%, but I owe that to living in the Chicago suburbs so all my social media feeds for the month of December are all centered on their house (yes, it‘s a real house and it‘s been on the market several times since the movie was filmed lol) 6d
dabbe @TheKidUpstairs I still need to! 💙🤍🩵 6d
dabbe @Amiable Ooh, you have to take the quiz and see what you remember! 🤩 6d
dabbe @Dilara I think that would be a very interesting stat to see! 💙🤍🩵 6d
dabbe @GingerAntics 🤣😍🤣 6d
dabbe @CogsOfEncouragement Thanks to Mental. Floss coming to the rescue! Merry Christmas to you, too. 💙🤍🩵 6d
dabbe @Ruthiella What kid wouldn't love to wreak a little vengeance on some awful adults, right? 🤣 6d
dabbe @Aims42 I just read that they're completely redoing it to look exactly how it did in 1990 (both inside and outside). Wonder if they'll turn it into a museum you can visit? 6d
Aims42 @dabbe They should!! I know the house from A Christmas Story in Indiana is a museum and I think maybe you can pay to spend the night there? I can‘t remember now lol 6d
dabbe @Aims42 OMG! Wouldn't that be a hoot?!? 6d
Dilara @dabbe Here goes: 46%. I knew the answer to one question (the ornament one), I answered everything else randomly 😁 6d
dabbe @Dilara Well, heck, that ain't bad at all! 🤣 Thanks for playing and sharing. 🩶🩵🤍 6d
BiblioLitten 69%. I only did not know one answer. Two I missed because i did not read my options properly. My son who recently turned 8 loved this movie 🥰 6d
Amiable @Aims42 I have been to the Christmas Story house in Cleveland! That‘s where it was filmed (even though the movie was set in Indiana). It‘s a lot smaller than it looks in the movie! And yes, you can stay overnight at either Ralphie‘s house or the Bumpus House next door. (edited) 6d
Aims42 @Amiable that‘s amazing! 😆 I hope the Bumpus‘ dogs aren‘t included with your stay at their house 🤣 6d
dabbe @BiblioLitten I love when you can see a movie again through a beloved's new eyes for their first time! Thanks for playing and sharing. 🩶🩵🤍 6d
dabbe @Amiable How cool is that? 🩶🩵🤍 6d
AmyG I got an 84%. I have to watch this. Usually I have seen it a few times by now. 6d
Ruthiella Thanks for the tag. I only saw it once when it was released on video in the 90s. I remember being bothered by the violence of it. But the kids I was babysitting loved it. 6d
nanuska_153 So, I got 100% 😅 Most of them I knew, I've watched it MANY times (and still makes me laugh) and I watched a documentary about the making off 🫣 Where the house was located was a lucky guess cause I had no idea, but yes, I even knew that the movie he watches is called Angels with Filthy Souls (and still love the title) 6d
dabbe @AmyG #yahooyou! I still need to rewatch it, too. Thanks for playing and sharing. ♥️🩶💚 6d
dabbe @Ruthiella Who doesn't love a little violence against the adults? 🤣 6d
dabbe @nanuska_153 BRAVO! 🙌🏻 Thanks for playing and sharing. ♥️🩶💚 6d
ravenlee Thanks for the tag! Not one of my movies this time, though 😆. I remember seeing it in the theater once, and never since. 6d
dabbe @ravenlee No worries! I'll tag you again! ♥️🩶💚 6d
AnnCrystal Thanks For The Tag 🎬👏🏼🥳👍🏼 haven't seen this movie since I was a kid, it reminded me of Looney Tunes 😂🎬💝 💚🤍❤️.. 6d

I‘m late but wouldn‘t dream of missing #TakeThreeThursday! I missed the Elf question (am hanging my head in shame) and the Disney one (I‘m okay with that). I love lots of Christmas music but some favorites are: Mariah‘s classic (please don‘t hate me!), “Please Come Home for Christmas” by the Eagles, “O Holy Night” by Celine, and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” by the Boss! 🎄🎁🎅

dabbe I forgive you for Carey's song: it's the #1 song of all time, right? Great choices and fab score! Thanks for playing and sharing. ♥️💙💚

I guessed on a few, so I'm thrilled with my score! Three of my favorite holiday songs:
1. “Christmastime is Here“: not from a movie, but a tv show--the best holiday one ever! (A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS, of course!)
2. “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas“: written for the movie MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS and sung by the incomparable Judy Garland.
3. “Silver and Gold“ by Burl Ives: another tv show (RUDOLPH).

rubyslippersreads I ❤️ Judy‘s version of this song, with the more melancholy lyrics than newer versions. 2w
dabbe @rubyslippersreads Oh, me, too. I weep every time I watch her sing it to Tootie. 😭 2w
shortsarahrose @rubyslippersreads Completely agree - Judy‘s version is the best and the original lyrics are superior! 2w
kspenmoll Ho ho ho. I scored a dismal 30%! 2w
dabbe @kspenmoll Time to watch some holiday movies with soundtracks! 🤣 Thanks for playing and sharing. ♥️💙💚 2w
