Really enjoyed this book, a-lot of twist and suspense in it too. 📖 👍🏼

Solid police procedural but nothing earth shattering. Firmly between a pick and a so-so for me.
Between a Pick and So-So. Solid police procedural. Decent characters but nothing really blew me away. https://theguildedearlobe.wordpress.com/2017/04/13/audiobook-review-the-dark-roo...
Started my next audiobook. Loved The Poison Artist. So far, it's an intriguing police procedural. And I like Collacci as a narrator more when he's working alone.
#TBRtemptation post! This is a sequel to "The Poison Artist", but everyone says it rather feels like a standalone. San Francisco homicide inspector, Gavin Cain, is called in by the mayor to deal with the mayor being blackmailed: photographs of a bed-chained woman. The mayor must kill himself or dark, secretive things will be revealed. Reminiscent of a Harry Bosch novel. Darn intriguing! Sign me up! #blameLitsy #blameMrBook ?
Kirkus published this which is great for those doing #24in48 https://www.kirkusreviews.com/lists/9-fast-reads-you-can-finish-weekend/dark-roo...
Today the Washington Post reviewed this book. It is set in Iceland close to the Arctic Circle. Sounds interesting but even more intriguing to me is the tradition of giving a book for Christmas and then staying up all night to read it. That tradition could tempt even a cold hater like me.
