Missing books (2 on the right) arrived! Bought them purely for nostalgia. Found books 2, 3, & 4 in Savannah series in box at my parents' house but couldn't find Savannah so I bought a replacement. Years ago my grandma recommended Savannah to me, so it's a special memory. The others I bought just to complete the other series I found in the box 😁. I'd like to read these again but I'm afraid I won't like them now due to my worldview having changed.

I had the most wonderful girls‘ weekend with @Graciouswarriorprincess at the Savannah Book Festival. We got to see 5 authors speak, meet 3 of them, get our pictures with Joe Hill, and explore the city. I can‘t wait to go back next year. Pictured: Attica Locke, Chloe Benjamin, Tayari Jones, Joe Hill.

GripLitGrl Looks like you had an amazing time! 👍😀💕 6y

I might just have visited another bookstore to reward myself for helping haul down the truly ridiculous number of boxes of Christmas decorations my parents have.

BookMaven407 That's my favorite bookstore in Savannah. 👍📚❤️ 6y
BookNAround @BookMaven407 I just stumbled across it but now that I know where it is, I‘ll visit whenever I‘m in town. 😉 6y
BookMaven407 I've never been to E. Shaver but will check it out next time. Not sure how I missed it! 🤷🏻‍♀️ 6y

BookNAround @BookMaven407 Both bookstores are in easy walking distance from each other so you don‘t have to move your car. 6y
BookMaven407 Good to know- thanks. 👍I plan on going back in February. 6y
ReadingEnvy I love this one and so close to a great little SCAD-run tearoom! 6y
Nute I can‘t even begin to tell you the number of reasons for which I reward myself with a book purchase. My favorite, ‘I made it through the work day, I think I‘ll buy a book on the way home.‘ There are so many reasons for finding yourself in the bookstore. I say enjoy every last one of them.☺️ 6y

June 3 #riotgrams - this is how I read this week during rainy afternoons. I spent many hours reading in Savannah's many parks/squares too. I prefer to read outside under a tree no matter where I am.

Reecaspieces I am the same way...give me outside even in 100 degree temp with 100 percent humidity. I love being outside to read 7y

#feistyfeb #boughtonvacation

I always buy books and bookmarks when I travel. I love that over time my book shelves read like a personal travelogue. These books are from my trip to Savanah Georgia.

mrp27 @Texreader oops! I accidentally deleted your comment while trying to write my comment but yes, books make the best souvenirs! 7y

This is my grandma's favorite book, but I really didn't think I'd like it. I was so wrong! I'm not quite finished, but it's been unputdownable so far. I'm twenty-eight years old; you'd think I'd know by now that Grammy is always right.
