Just got back from a fantastic trip to England. Hit some wonderful indie bookstores and picked up these British goodies. Also pictured are two of my (many) York Ghosts I acquired on this trip. Love these little guys.

Last weekend we stopped into this new to us comic book store in Lawrenceville, NJ-Final Boss. The guys who run the shop are fantastic and full of recommendations. Had a blast talking all things horror comics. Picked up these three beauties.

I needed a win in a sea of losses this week and #botm pulled through for me this morning with some picks that put a smile on my face. Looking forward to these two. Hope everyone else found something to add to their box this month.

Took some time this morning to finish this one before heading home from our weekend in the Hudson Valley/Catskills. Wish I had one more day! I‘m on a LaValle run and loving every minute of it. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.

Finished my first #authoramonth today. This month I read the tagged and the book in the picture. While I liked both of them (LaRose more than Shadow Tag), I‘m still not sold on Erdrich. I always seem to like not love her books.

Looks like my plans of reading in bed all day after a tough couple of days is on hold. I‘m going to take in a little retail therapy first. Who is joining me at B&N‘s amazing sale?

I am so sad today. #literati announced that the book subscription service is ending. It really is my favorite subscription service-giving you tons of seriously thought provoking selections each month to choose from. The app was fantastic and included a page tracker for your current read. Oh well. I guess all good things come to and end 😭 The tagged book appears to be my last selection.

Spent some time at Edith Wharton‘s The Mount last weekend. I so wish I was there again today. If you are ever in the Berkshires, it‘s a must. Finishing the tagged today.

Spent some time last night at the Rosenbach‘s Dracuthon - an overnight live reading of Dracula. Great way to kick off my birthday weekend.

Well this is a first. I filled my #botm box. Looking forward to these three. Hope everyone else found something this month.

I was going to skip this month until I saw that I have 19 credits stored up! The sample page of the tagged book #BOTM provided was intriguing. Fingers crossed. I really miss the Literary Fiction options though.

That was the fastest skip ever. What the heck #botm! I just can‘t take all of the romance, thrillers and suburban mom stories. Maybe BOTM isn‘t for me anymore? I miss the really good literary fiction choices of years past. Oh well. Will try again in October.

I haven‘t been excited in a #botm box in quite awhile but I can‘t wait for this one. I loved Migrations. Yes!

I have to thank #thatsclassic for getting me to pull out this gorgeous Folio edition for June‘s book pick. Fantastic gothic setting and many memorable (deplorable) characters. Loved it.

The Philadelphia Free Library is hosting Emily tomorrow night. I just signed up for the free event. Anyone else interested? I haven‘t been able to get my hands on the new book so I‘ll be plugging my ears in places to avoid spoilers!

I joined Jenny Lawson‘s book club and just received my first box. Yes! I can‘t wait to start this book this weekend.
