I don't really read much poetry but I am trying to include some poetry in my kids' collection of books! Can you recommend some great poetry books for kids?

Naomi Shihab Nye does several excellent poetry books for children as well, but your children may need to grow into them. There's a collection of Maya Angelou, one of Edgar Allen Poe, one of William Carlos Williams, and so on. And the illustrations are lovely! 7y
