I'm always excited to get new material from J. Hill and G. Rodriguez, especially when it's from L&K! This single issue looks back at the Locke family in the 1800s.

GR's artwork is GORGEOUS as usual and the story was a fun look at the Lockes from an earlier time. An interview with JH and GR said that a 7th L&K volume will be released with short stories. They also teased about a possible new 37-issue epic in the future. The excitement is REAL!

BekahB Just an FYI: I read this on a Kindle Fire; unfortunately there was a 2-page spread that was difficult to read. I had to grab a magnifying glass to see the text. Some e-comics let you tap and zoom, but this one didn't. It's absolutely worth reading, but might be better as a physical copy OR have a magnifying glass handy. 8y

BekahB @vivastory I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that this will happen. Hill also said that he's working on a pilot episode for a Locke and Key television series that will be backed by IDW. I was so disappointed when it wasn't picked up last time, but this time it seems a lot more promising. 8y

vivastory That makes my day. It would make a fantastic show. I'm glad he's not giving up on TV adaptations. Can you imagine the conversations him & his dad have had about TV adaptations of their work that ended up canceled or delayed? @BekahB 8y

Here are some of my most anticipated 2017 comic book collections. I'm so excited for the Joe Hill releases, a new short story from Locke and Key and a collection of his graphic novels! There will also be a new volume of Tales from the Darkside by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.

Junji Ito is my favorite horror manga artist, so I AM HERE for this 4-story collection. So many books to look forward to!
