I had planned on starting this yesterday, but my sinuses went haywire and I felt miserable. Feeling better today though. #romantsy

My 2nd venture into the romance genre. This was entertaining. I liked that there was a mystery being solved. I also like that this series centers around academically-minded women. I will probably read the next one eventually.

I'm not likely to become a devoted romance reader (mysteries will always be my genre), but I'm glad I know a little more about this genre now.

robinb Hehe, I started in romance but am now hooked on mysteries! 😂 7y
Amie @robinb maybe I will become a romance convert 😁 I really like Deanna Raybourn's and Anna Lee Huber's mystery series and they have a good dose of romance. I liked the romance in The Anatomist's Wife so much that it convinced me to finally pick up an actual romance. 7y
robinb @amie I actually started mysteries with those two authors (along with CS Harris). Those 3 are still my favorites. And I actually search out mysteries with a little romance involved....romance seems to be my common denominator in what I read. I also read some urban fantasy (Briggs, Andrews), and those also feature romance. Lol 😂 7y

I quite enjoyed this book. A different set of ladies as the main characters. Hopefully I can get my hands on the next one soon.

And this is Murray and Snickers enjoying the front step. Their mom is coming home later (early) so I'll be leaving them soon. Another weekend of dog sitting over.
