Mehso-so

I love the world of Tokyo Ghoul, and the many amazing characters. I‘ve been wanting to try a Light Novel in one of my favourite mangas for a while. I enjoyed the short stories but I found them very simply written. They shed light on a few character backgrounds and relationships, but overall I felt it was too simply portrayed.

Bookish_Viking Hmmm... this paragraph almost makes it seem like having a house full of books and bookshelves is a bad thing. Never too many. 4y
StellaDz @ReaperOfTerrasen I can understand! I‘m Kaneki thinking books are great, but I‘ve seen my brother (minimalist) walk into my house and have a panic attack (Touka). 😂 Won‘t stop me filling a house though! My comfort!! ❤️ 4y
Bookish_Viking My collection is only a few years old (October 2015 is when I got hooked on books). I posted a current picture of my bookroom (not a library....I don‘t loan books anymore :/) on an earlier post on here. But everything in the room is going to get replaced, I kinda have a room consultant now from Ashley Furniture. It‘s gonna be awesome... eventually. 4y
StellaDz @ReaperOfTerrasen spread throughout my house I have 12 bookshelves. And piles wherever else I can put them. I‘m also a fan of statues and figurines (mostly Batman) but some that are book related are placed accordingly! I moved to my new town with 75 bankers boxes of books! 4y
Bookish_Viking Most of my collectibles I got years ago. I sent a message on GR describing them. 4y

I‘ve never tried a light novel (?) set in the world of a manga, but I do love Tokyo Ghoul! Giving the first one a try! #currentlyreading

Pickpick

The first of a series of companion novels for the Tokyo Ghoul manga! This volume has six short stories about some of the other main characters in the series, giving us a glimpse at what happens in between the main storyline. This was definitely enjoyable and I can't wait to read the next one!
