When I was in high school I read and loved this series. Returning to them now when it feels like the world is in such chaos, felt like a warm hug. Some plot points are obviously dated, but I loved rereading these books that I adored when I was so young.

Our story featured a potted aloe vera plant so book club met at a creative space tonight for our discussion and we painted while rehashing the second Glenbrooke 😍

Second in Glenbrooke series by Robin Jones Gunn, taking place in both Glenbrooke, Oregon & Maui, Hawaii I was feeling like I should up and leave my digs for a beach vacation. Love falling into RJG titles for book club and the discussion that follows. So many highlighted portions. Can't wait to meet up with my gals tomorrow night to paint aloe vera pots ❤️ (evolution of the book cover fye)
