This one took me completely by surprise with its cliffhanger at the end! 😲

Even if you aren't a manga fan, but you like dark action- packed horror, you should definitely give this series a chance.

Tokyo Ghoul volume #9 was really amazing as well.

These are the two!! Twists, turns, a story line that is getting so exciting and fleshed out! I‘m sad that the majority of these volumes are not included in the anime. Really, these are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reads for me and, so far, my favourite of the series.

Kaneki starts looking into Rize's past as well as the doctor who performed the life changing surgery on him. We are also introduced to the new character who also happens to be Mado's daughter. And this volume really ends on a cliffhanger!

Almost done catching up with reviews. I read Tokyo Ghoul 7, 8 and 9 back to back. 7 and 8 were pretty much all fighting, which I found a little disappointing. The plot is thickening once again in 9, though, so I'm excited again to get to the next volume!
