The five books I read for Read O Rama! My record for any Readathon book-wise! 784 pages total.

Met 5 challenges, which isn't bad!

My fifth book for Read O Rama.

An interesting sequel to the first book, though not nearly as good. I remember having read all but one of these growing up but I remembered nothing about this one. It was fun and explored some darker subjects, like multiple deaths and the realities of war.

Liked it, but definitely not on the same level as the first book.

Next Temeraire book is still on hold, so I kept on with this series.

This one lost me a bit, mostly because it began to slightly strain my suspension of disbelief. The story was still good. I still love the characters. It got a little too Home Alone unbelievable there toward the end.

As a side note, these are read by the author, and she does a great job with voices. Very enjoyable.

Moving on to the next one while I wait for Temeraire!
