Roughly two years and half a moleskine notebook later and I've finished! I really get a ton out of Alter's commentary and I've started watching The Bible Project as well so I'm feeling deep into this and taking tons of notes in the hopes of really reflecting and absorbing. I'll probably take a break before I start the next book because I'd rather read through than suffer this off and on journey I took with this one.

This is who I am...many hours in a book bath. There's totally a bath bomb in my #halloweengoespostal box because that is the best bookish gift I know...

I just read three pages on the use of the word 'and' in the story of Rebecca at the well. I do not have adequate words to express how excited I am to finally be working my way through this.
