Tulen morsian: Tosikertomus noitavainoista Suomessa 1666-1671 | Leena Virtanen
3 posts | 2 read | 2 to read
Teos on ilmestynyt aiemmin nimellä Noitanaisen älä anna elää.

Tiny book full of new information. I really like when researchers turn their research in a reader friendly form. This book gave me so much new information about paganism, Finland's historical culture and witch trials!

Started reading this. It tells a true story about the Witch trials in Finland in the years 1666-1671.

This one is #setinmycountry . There are not that many global historical events that have ever touched this country. But weirdly witch hunt is one of those that did. There are these tiny islands between Finland and Sweden and this book tells a true story of what happened when the witch hunt began there. #setinmycity #readjanuary

Martta @Prairiehomelibrarian Actually I'm in Finland but I've visited in Sweden as well. It's a very nice country. You should definitely visit there if you get a chance. 7y

Martta @Prairiehomelibrarian I think you should definitely visit at least one of the Nordic countries if you ever get a chance. I have travelled a bit and I think there is something unique here. Not saying it's anything better than other countries just different. Just something to experience. 7y
[DELETED] 3517561138 It's definitely on my to do list. Now I'll make Finland a priority and we can meet for tea and talk about books we love! 🇫🇮 7y
