Clive Barker returns to the world of Hellraiser in this volume in which Kirsty Cotton gathers a group of individuals who have survived encounters with Pinhead and the other Cenobytes as Pinhead himself, bored and tired, seeks to become human. A promising start to the series.

I'm giving this a pick but it's more halfway between a pick and a so so. Anyway, no one can get under my skin like Barker, and this is no exception. While some of the tropes are cliche and deeply upsetting, when it works, it's truly epic horror. Again, not not not for the faint of heart, and really only if you like Barker. (I was away this weekend so I'm catching up with my reviews.)
