Slow build in the beginning and I‘m not sure I like Rexi, but that ending turned everything on its head.

I didn‘t enjoy this novel as much as the first book in the series. There were a lot of things going on in this plot line, characters popping in and out of pages of books without much explanation of how they got there. I was confused through half the book.

How did you choose this book:I have the first book and I saw the second book and decided to buy it.
Summery: In the sequel to Spelled, can Rexi Robin Hoods, stop the Wicked Witch from find the Excalibur.
This was a lot darker than the first one. I loved the continued use of puns. It was really cool to get Rex's point of view and I was not expecting the ending with Robin Hood--that shoooooook me. The very ending left me confused and stunned. I don't know where this leaves the entire plot...or the next book! I'm quite excited for the sequel because the ending could mean so many things!
Omg I totally forgot Robin Hood was in this! 😘😘😘😘😘 Delightful surprise/reminder
Sadly, I couldn't find this book in paper copy on my trip to Edmonton so audiobook through the library will have to do! Light, corky and funny is a good pick me up after a darker thought-provoking read.
Depending how this goes, I may have to buy the paper book online.
Thank you so much to @mgiroir for the lovey #retellingswap goodies! I have never read but totally want to read these. Did you get your goodies yet? #litsy #litsyswap #ya #awesomemail
The #shoesoncovers caught my eye. Loving Spelled and Wanted is on my TBR. #jubilantjuly @RealLifeReading

Perfect day for reading and enjoying the Florida weather while avoiding the ugliness of the news. I finally finished the first book for the #hpchapteraday and will start the next book tomorrow (and hopefully catch up).
I want these shoes. If any of you are a cobbler they just need to be a 3" heel instead of a 5" heel. I would wear the heck out of these. So pretty!!!
