This week I focused on finishing a bunch of books & audiobooks I quit after starting usually around 40%. I finished 15 old books (but really more like 8 total books) and 2 new ones.

A great little short mystery surrounding the death of a friend 20 years ago.

Too short! I was crushed to reach 78% according to my Kindle and have it be the end - the rest was a preview of the book I finished last night. Like her full length novels, this story has surprising depth and left me in tears. My #backlistbinge is over. Now, the waiting begins - book #4 comes out 2/13/18.

This was my first time reading this series and although I enjoyed it I think I should have waited until the rest of the series became available in the UK so that I could start at the beginning! I'll definitely be diving here once the first book is released here.

An Esa Khattak and Rachel Getty short story to tide us over until book number 3 comes out next month.

This was a harrowing but ultimately beautiful story. It rained on my face!
