What a great book to integrate literacy and division, especially fraction as division. NF 3. What am I doing? School is out for two weeks. You can take the teacher out of school,... #BBRC @LibrarianRyan letter D

The Doorbell Rang by Pat Hutchins is a cool RF read that will keep you guessing as to who will show up at the door next. It also contains a good message about sharing. I would use this book as a RA. I would use ESOL strategy 15 by reinforcing the key ideas. I would use UDL 2.5 and illustrate through multiple media.

jmartucci This website has some cute resources that would be nice for a young class.

Bshelton27 I LOVE this story. I really like the activity you attached as well. I think it is a great math lesson for the younger grades. I think visuals are important so I like how kids can transfer each cookie to the plate. 5y
DrSpalding This is an excellent book to incorporate into a math lesson. Helpful resource and appropriate strategies. 5y
