What in the #hoopla is this? My biggest gripe about hoopla audiobooks was that it was all just one big file as opposed to overdrive which would allow you to go to a chapter. (I sometimes read a book and listen when driving so I need to be able to skip ahead.) Today I downloaded this book and there must have been an update because I can move forward by chapter now. Yay!

November #doublebookspin

This weeks reading is all about trying to finish up all the books I‘ve started and haven‘t finished. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 I enjoyed this mg read about a young boy fleeing the Taliban with his family when his younger sister gets accidentally left behind to come to America in the weeks before 9/11.

Excellent book for high reading Fourth graders and older. The ending absolutely works and genuinely surprised me. This explores an immigration story with empathy and honesty. #middlegradereads

It‘s a perfect night to run away, thought Fadi, casting a brooding look at the bright sheen of the moon through the cracked backseat window. It reminded him of the book From the mixed-up dukes of Mrs Basil E. Frankweiler. #favoritebook

Peaceful_Reader This was such a great read! Adding it to our library as I look far and wide for more well-written diverse stories. Any elementary suggestions? 6y
