Entertainment Weekly called "Marshall" a super hero origin story for a legendary civil rights lawyer.

Such an apt description. So. Good!

Nebklvr I read a biography of Thurgood Marshall when I was in high school or college. He was Amazing. 7y
WhatDeeReads @Nebklvr I should put one of his biographies on my TBR. Do you remember which one? 7y
Nebklvr @WhatDeeReads I can't remember. It was before I started keeping track. I just remember that it was quite large... 7y

Saw this play tonight (sadly not in the library). I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I am not sure how much of that was the play and how much of that was just me, as a mixed race female attorney, naturally being a fangirl of Marshall's.

It was a one man show, though, so can't deny the power of the performance.
