I would use this in my classroom because all children have dreams and some of them are to also have a pet. This book does a good job of bring that to life.

My pony is about a girl dreaming about having her own pony. The book does a good job at using the illustrations to also tell the story and help readers follow along. The pictures are accurate and consistent with the story.
I would use this book in my future classroom because young students would connect to wanting a pet for their own.
“My Pony“ is about a young girl dreaming of her pony that she wants and it would fall under the picturebook category. It is a picture book because the content is appropriate to the age level given because the girl is the same age as the students it would be read to. Also, the illustrations really help the text by providing detailed horse pictures during her dreams.
