Kind of like a Hallmark movie minus the romance. I wanted a fluffy, uncomplicated book to read during the holidays and this fit the bill nicely. Three single women in their 50s sell their individual homes and buy a dilapidated southern home to renovate. I did love that it was just about their friendship. It wrapped up at Christmastime with a lovely feel-good ending that was absolutely predictable but I enjoyed it all the same.

One of my favorite series in the novel genre.

I grabbed one of my favorite chick lit books Sunday night while putting up all of my new books. I just love this "could never happen in real life but we all wish it could" book.

Day 3 #JuneBookBugs #insects My books with insects on the cover, title, or inside a giant peach.😆🐞🐛🍑🐜 Heavy on the bees.🐝🐝🐝 I have read and enjoyed all but the bottom two--The Bees has been in my #TBR stack for ages and I'm about to start reading The Gypsy Moth Summer for a blog book tour this month.
