5⭐️ A little boy asks his friend with two dads, which dad takes care of what things around the house and in life. I like this book because one kid respectfully asks questions about something he does not understand. I also like how the authors made sure that everything was not just daddy or poppa, but that some things they do together, and some things our girl is big enough to do on her own. A great book for any library or home.

readinginthedark I loved this one and Tale of Two Mommies! 7y

I was going to post this review anyway, but it kind of works for #diverselovestories This was similar to A Tale of Two Daddies, which I read first, but I think both are good to have on hand to expand the discussion of family even more with your child. I love that this author addresses a family with same-sex parents in a casual way. And I appreciate any opportunity to have a conversation with my son about what family means. #feistyfeb #netgalley

RadicalReader @readinginthedark absolutely love how they can have such adult topics become children friendly to explain it to children so they don't go their entire life confused and perplexed at the situation they're going through. Better they get it from a book than from outside sources 8y
readinginthedark @RadicalReader Agreed! I would rather show things to my son in a comfortable environment where he can ask questions and figure things out before he's exposed to people who might spread hate and exclusion. 8y
