This was pretty interesting. I liked the way the format was in lists and it was brief. It was a little bit repetitive in parts, but I do think a lot of what the author wrote about very motivational and thought provoking. I think for anyone who needs a push to reset the way they are thinking, this is a great book to remind you of the things we probably already know but need to hear again.

Bailing on this, at least for now. There are some interesting things to think about in here, but instead of cohesive essays, it‘s mostly long lists of things that don‘t translate very well on audio (e.g., “101 things more worth thinking about that whatever is consuming you”—by the time she got to 30
I couldn‘t remember what the list was of…). This would probably be better as a physical book to flip through and think about as the mood strikes.

July 9, 2023 Perfect way to end off the book Brianna Wiest: "Your struggles will be what make you what you are". I could not have said it better. This is super relatable and I am happy that I got to be a reader of this self help book. It has made me think a lot and help me become a better version of myself 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

July 8, 2023 Last post of the day. Just read the title of this chapter and see if you can relate. If you can, we are on the same page. If you can't, then idk you. JK

July 8, 2023 Omg I am on page 313 out of 441 and another quote spoke to me. The quote says: You don't "have" to, you "get" to. In simple terms, when one starts considering things not as obligations but opportunities, one starts taking advantage of them rather than trying to avoid them. An example would be getting up early. You don't have to wake up early, you get to wake up early etc

July 5, 2023 I am progressing slowly through the book, page 226 out of 441, and two quotes spoke to me: "You want love to change your life" & "You don't realize that you love most about others...is what you love most about yourself". Both are 100% true. One has to love and be kind to themselves before they can love someone else. Love yourself first and always ♥️

July 5, 2023 I SWEAR(okay not for real; just figuritively speaking) where did the time go???! Yesterday was July 4th (Happy July 4th). Decided to pick up this book bc it does not have a time limit set to you. One can read it anytime or just for some motivation...

If you're doing it right, this book should feel more life-affirming than life-changing. I am happy to report I am on my way.

September 2, 2022 It's Fall ya'll!!! So cliche! Anywho, I am finally able to get back to reading this book. As you may know, I was taking a break from reading it but I feel like it is a great time to pick it up AGAIN.

July 21, 2022 I will come back to White Fragility another time bc it has been a long time since I read it. This book has been on Instagram so much that I felt like I had to buy it off Amazon. I hope it lives up to its standards and CHANGES THE WAY I THINK 🤞🏻

A few good ones, mostly in the beginning. A lot of them felt repetitive and could have been cut down to 50 essays that would have been more impactful. It felt like every essay you've ever read on Medium.com but that's not a bad thing.
