And at least the 64 box, although the 120 is preferable…
“And no fat crayons. Everybody knows those are little-kid crayons. I need the skinny crayons.”
To be 6 again & getting new school supplies…
I love Molly Harper‘s sense of humor. Libby, sick with terminal cancer, gets herself “turned” by placing an ad on the vampire version of Craigslist so she can raise her son. Now she has to deal with bitchy PTA moms, the vampire council, her sire and the hunky tattooed dude who keeps pissing her off.
There are no surprises here, just comical situations and characters you‘re excited to follow in crazy Half-Moon Hollow.
I love this paragraph for soooo many reasons, but mostly for the According to Jim reference.
Most of you probably know this already, but just in case, Audible is having a sale. 🎧
I'm playing catch-up on reviews for books I finished in October. I loved this so much! Libby is amazing. She's snarky and fun and also very realistic for her situation. At the beginning of the book, she has just become a vampire after losing her husband two years ago and her year-long battle with cancer, and she just wants to live and continue taking care of her son. But after her transition, many battles await, including a few with the PTA! ❤️
I think this all the time.
And this time tomorrow I'll be in New Orleans! #nolastorycon Does anyone have a favorite bookstore or reading spot they'd recommend I find?
The lighting and my hair were horrible for this, so I messed around with the coloring a bit. Anyway, this book is so funny! Didn't mean to miss #bookfacefriday! Still loving this one! So much fun, and yet so much parenting truth! #nolastorycon
I am totally digging the vampire mom thing! And I find myself relating to Libby quite a bit. If my husband were dead, and I was dying of cancer, and becoming a vampire was an option...you know, I might do it to save my son from growing up with my in-laws. But it's not a drag; it's fun in classic Molly Harper style!
