I think all students would really enjoy reading and listening to limericks, especially the ones in this book because they are extremely funny. Maybe even just read one different one every day at the start of the morning meeting just so the students can begin to get a feel of poetry.

I think students of all ages will find these poems to be humorous. It would be a great way to start a class or read to have students make their own limericks.

This is a book full of limericks. The one I read was called “There once was a student named Sonny.“ This is great for laughs and to lighten up the classroom mood.

I think this book could be valuable in the future when I want to teach limericks. I was not super ecstatic about this book, but I believe it represents limericks well.

The rhymes in this book are very natural sounding and flow nicely. I like this poem, because it is a limerick and the pictures are drawn nicely.

Something Sure Smells Around Here by Brian P Clearly (poetry, published 2015) is a really cute book of limericks. They are based on things for younger children but all rhyme and the illustrations are a lot of fun and add to the story! A good book

I would have this in my classroom it was super funny and my students would really enjoy it.

Something Sure Smells Around Here by Brian P. Clearly, 2015. I knew I was going to enjoy these poems based off the cover! It was super funny and the poems didn‘t disappoint. While reading I learned what a limerick is and that was what the poems were. Each poem was unique and made me laugh. The illustrations complemented the poems which made it more fun to read.

I would use this book in my classroom because it is age-appropriate and hilarious which is good for young children. It is a good book to introduce to poetry and the kids will love it because it is hilarious and about children their own age.

I would for sure use this book in my classroom. If there was some free time, I would read these poems in between two lessons to lighten the atmosphere. The limericks are very quick to the point so this is a very easy read for transitions.
