Welcome to England's beautiful Lake District, where a reluctant reunion forges a new bond between a daughter and her wayward mother.... Abby Rhodes is just starting to get her life on track. A second chance/starting over story featuring an estranged mother & daughter coming back home to run the family beach cafe in England's Lake District. Good family drama-a good balance of lighter and darker, heavier moments. #Septembowie #Changes Errands run, floor vacuumed & I'm settling in with an iced tea infusion & my weekend 📚stack-minus e-books, audiobooks & chapter-a-day-reads. These 3 books all have characters going through changes. The tagged book is for review next week & has a woman returning to the village she grew up in, as does the middle book.😆 If I need a change from that theme, there's characters in Night Shift who change into supernatural beings!🤣
