Never have I laughed out loud so much while reading a book - and when you're reading this at 1am with people asleep in the house, it's really hard to keep quiet! I swear every page had some hilarious comment or cultural reference that I couldn't help but laugh at. I felt right a home with these characters!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and really recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, hilarious and fun story!

Bedtime reading, new Aussie debut book and a cup of tea (English breakfast) in this mug I have had since I was 15, which makes it much older than many of you littens 😂😂

Pretty much loved everything (with tinges of disappointment towards The Bland Sisters and Five on Brexit Island)

Unsure at the start but came to love these characters, who are all dealing with their own personal crossroads in life. MC Lucy has moved home after her relationship breaks down and her 'semi glamorous' job presenting on tv loses its appeal. Her parents are recently retired and adapting to life without structure very differently. Perfect read for a Sunday afternoon and lovely to get an Aussie debut sent to me in the mail!
