pickI really enjoyed this story, beautifully written and Carroll manages to evoke the same sense of adventure found in the work of E Nesbit. Strong characters emerge in the beautifully realised setting and though the story is told with great economy, it does not lack plot, wit or charm. Written for children, there are many adults who would benefit from the truths in the book, not least that we are all people underneath.
Beautifully written. Kickstarting my 26 days off work!
