Our progress so far. I love it. Today‘s mission: finish the walkway, add some more flowers, & start a veggie & herb garden while I listen to Stardust (because I can‘t listen to audiobooks that I haven‘t previously read because my attention span is crap🤣).👌🏼 #gardenersoflitsy #litsygarden #audiogardening #memorialdayweekend #weekendproject

Spending our long weekend working on our yard. Getting some more flowers to fill in the bare spots near our driveway, but in the meantime we have these gorgeous purple flowers to look at.😍 might listen to an audiobook while I plant later😊 #gardening #audiogardening #flowers #longweekend

Mmmmm... enjoying an eve with Gardeners World! Is that a sign I‘m truly now ‘middle aged‘ ??!! 🤣

LeahBergen Yes, along with a sudden interest in bird-watching (I say as I just finish looking up that mysterious bird in my yard). 😂😂😂 6y
Mitch @LeahBergen 😂! Last night I went to our local nature reserve and did a Birds Of Prey drawing workshops - with Tawney Owls, Barn Owls and a baby Peregrine Falcon! I‘m most definitely embracing middle life! 🤣🤣🤣 6y
Oryx @Mitch that sound really fun! The bird drawing bit, not so much the Gardener's world 😉 6y
Mitch @Oryx it was fun- except they kept moving about! 6y
Oryx @Mitch maybe try the ones at the Natural History Museum next time? I think they don't move so much. 😄 6y

Today‘s Prompt: GARDEN

Love summer vegetable gardens.

Homegrown tomatoes are my favorite. YUM!!

Do you have a favorite garden vegetable?

Gina Asparagus from the garden is so nutty and mouth watering. It is a perennial but can take up to three years before you can get a harvest. I'm hoping next year I can get something out of my patch. So worth the wait. 6y
SilversReviews @Gina I never knew this. Thanks for the info. Yum!! 6y
vkois88 Cucumbers were always my favorite when we could get them to grow 🤗 6y

Working inside, but dreaming of working outside. This book is arranged in perfectly readable short segments. It almost seems designed to read in between grading papers. If only I could work out a system where I could grade while I garden. Alas 🌱

brittanyreads Love your lamp! 😊 7y
