I read omnibus 3 & 4 together, so I'm combining reviews! I love this adorable manga about friendship, overcoming adversity, fashion, otakus, passion, & preventing redevelopment projects. As much as I love it, I feel icky about some aspects: forcing beauty standards on girls, unaddressed mild transohobia, old men oggling (mostly) young women's bodies, not respecting body autonomy, and a few other cringy things you frequently find in anime & manga.

About: Jellyfish-geek girl (and her geek housemates) gets involved with the fashionable cross-dressing son of a politician to start up a clothing line inspired by Jellyfish.

The fashion show was a success, and also the cat's outta the bag that the Prime Minister's nephew is a cross-dresser. Other than that, we get a peek at how difficult it is to go from idea to practicality.

PRINCESS JELLYFISH's main characters are a girl obsessed with jellyfish and a boy who adores women's fashion. They team up with a bunch of other über-focused fans to start a jellyfish-themed fashion range and save the apartment building that serves as a safe haven for women who don't fit in with society.

It's a fun and funny look at how people love things in exaggerated ways, with a hint of romance around the edges. I love it.

It's a pain day, so reading comics is about all in currently good for. It's frustrating because I want to be productive, but at least I'm making solid progress through my reading list.

I just adore this series. I love all the characters. So bummed I have to wait until June 20 for the next volume.
